Administrative & Research

Based in the MPAC LA office, you will work closely with President of MPAC and assist him with the various projects he will be working on. Digital

Based in the MPAC LA office, you will experience an exciting opportunity to refine your skills in digital storytelling through graphic design and/or video production. You will merge creativity with passion for social justice to make a difference in the policies, perceptions affecting American Muslims and other communities. Responsibilities include creating graphics and/or short form video content to support programs, campaigns and events.

Requirements:
- Experience w/ DSLRs & editing in Premiere or Final Cut Experience designing using Adobe Creative Suite
- Passionate in creative storytelling, problem solving and asking great questions
- Hungry to learn, attention to detail, self learner, and strong initiative
- Eager to work on projects from conception to execution to reporting

Based in the MPAC DC office, you will develop leadership, communication, and critical analysis skills in a dynamic and exciting work environment through hands-on experience in policymaking, opinion shaping, and public interest advocacy. You will develop your leadership skills so that America is enriched by the vital contributions of American Muslims.

Development Intern

Based in the MPAC LA office, you will work with the Development & Communications team to connect philanthropy with social impact. You will assist in engaging donors and supporters, develop communications strategies, and report and analyze campaign efficacy. You will also learn skills related to foundation grant research and writing.

Based in the MPAC DC office, you will gain a breadth of skills that will delve deep into the world of media and public relations. You will work directly with news reporters and producers to shape an authentic and unique understanding of Muslims and Islam in the media by exploring how the news influences hearts and minds.

Requirements:

- Familiarity with major news publications (TV, print, digital)
